I had grown to admire and respect Bill Forbesfrom both my familiarity with him at auctions I had attended and as an outstanding County Commissioner.  From my first phone call to the last moment of the real estte closings, Mr. Forbes did not leave any detail unfinished and remained in constnt contact with us throughout the entire time.

His auctions are well advertised as reflected by the huge attendance and success of bothe the equipemnt, gun and land sales.   

I was impressed with his knowledge of farm machinery and its salability in relation to local needs. He even searched out potential buyers and made sure they were alerted of the sale.  The methods used for advertising, tabulation of bidding and final totals were kept using the most technically advanced equipment.  A videographer taped all of the auctions and the estate was given a copy for its records.  His background in real estate assisted greatly in the legal and administrative details and lessened the need for an attorney.  The strategy used by separating tracts on the surveys and bidding them separately and together greatly added to the outcome.  All of the survey costs were recouped. Adherence to a strict schedule kept my family and me in line.  Both auctions were well staffed by experienced individuals and we profited well above market value.

I would definitely recommend Bill Forbes & Associates, Auctioneer, for all of your auctioneering needs.  He and his staff are true professionals that took a load off of our family during a very difficult time and he was invaluable to my family and me in the settling of this estate.

Real Estate Auction -- Feb., 5, 2005

Bill Forbes & Associates proved that the auction method cost us nothing to sell our real estate.  In fact, by using the auction method, the beneficiaries received more money than ever anticipated.  If a realtor had been used instead of an auction to sell this property, the estate would have received much less oney because the land was not valued at the high amounts that wer bid for it at the auction.
